“One of the great things about Pluto’s rubs and sauces is that you really don’t need a recipe. You can just put it on food, cook it or heat it, and eat it. When I don’t feel like being creative or thinking too much, I can just pick up a pre-cooked pork roast, pour some PLUTOS’s Carib-B-Q® on it, heat it up and enjoy. Or pull out some leftovers from the fridge, add some PLUTO’S Paradise Potion® to liven it up, and it’s a whole new dish.” – S.D.

Linda’s Pluto’s Potatoes

These are called Linda’s Pluto’s Potatoes because I differ with Pluto about the methods of cutting the potatoes, applying the oil and the cooking (he says cube, drizzle and broil). But I agree with him all over the place about the wisdom of Blissing them out. Preheat oven to 450º. Cut up three pounds of potatoes into wedges and put them in a bowl. Drench your hands in olive oil and massage the potatoes until they’re shiny (more oil than this will make them too greasy.) Sprinkle with PLUTO’S Caribbean Bliss®, grab the edges of the bowl and toss or jostle the spuds until they’re Blissful. Spread in a roasting pan and place in hot oven. Shake them good after the first few minutes and about every 10 minutes thereafter. If your pans are as old as mine, they’ll stick a little. You might have to nudge them with a spatula. Roast till they’re soft inside, brown and crispy outside. Could take 45 minutes. You might want to sprinkle with some salt. Oh, mon.

PLUTO’S Carib-B-Q Soba Noodles

One of the great things about Pluto’s rubs and sauces is that you really don’t need a recipe. You can just put it on food, cook it or heat it, and eat it. When I don’t feel like being creative or thinking too much, I can just pick up a pre-cooked pork roast, pour some PLUTO’S Carib-B-Q® on it, heat it up and enjoy. Or pull out some leftovers from the fridge, add some PLUTO’S Paradise Potion® to liven it up, and it’s a whole new dish.

But here is one very simple recipe I think you’ll enjoy:

1 Cup PLUTO’S Carib-B-Q®
1/4 Cup Peanut Butter
1 Sweet Red Pepper, thinly sliced
1 Package Soba Noodles
1 Bunch Scallions, chopped (optional)

Prepare soba noodles according to package directions. Combine PLUTO’S Carib-B-Q® and peanut butter in a saucepan over medium low heat. Stir until peanut butter is melted and mixture is heated through. Add well-drained noodles and sweet red pepper to the saucepan and toss to thoroughly coat. Top with scallions (or cilantro, or finely diced habeñero, or edamame, etc.) Serve immediately, but it’s also enjoyable straight from the fridge the next day. – Courtesy of S.D.

Pluto’s Caribbean Jerk Turkey

Rub turkey lightly, but completely, (inside and out) with PLUTO’S Caribbean Bliss®. Place in a roasting pan to marinate overnight. Preheat oven to 375º. Add about 1/2 to 3/4 cup water to turkey in a roasting pan. Cover and bake, basting with pan juices after 1 1/2 hours, and every hour until done (about 2  1/2 to 3 hours, depending on size, longer if you cover with foil). Remove cover for the last few minutes to brown. Eat and go nuts!

Joni’s Jerked Shrimp Three Pepper Linguini

1 Box Good Quality Linguini
40 Large Shrimp
1 Sweet Red Pepper
1 Yellow Pepper
2 Jalapeño Peppers
1 Stick of Butter
1/4 Cup Chopped Cilantro
1 Cup White Wine
3 tsp. PLUTO’S Caribbean Bliss®, or more to taste
8 Cherry Tomatoes

Cook the linguini ahead of time, and rinse with cold water, so it won’t continue to cook. Set aside. Sauté the peppers in the butter until slightly cooked. Add the shrimp with the PLUTO’S Caribbean Bliss® and cook until the shrimp are just pink. Add the wine and pasta, after running water over it to loosen it up. Toss the pasta in the pot with the other ingredients that are left over. Keep tossing so the pasta can get hot. Add more jerk seasoning if needed. Sprinkle the fresh cilantro over the dish at the end and serve.

*1/2 cup of whipping cream can be added to reduce everything down a little before adding the shrimp.
